If you are looking for a simple meal to make that will look and taste as if you spent hours in the kitchen preparing it, then you want to make hamburger enchiladas. These wonderful enchiladas are a great choice for you to serve to your family and guests when you are in the mood for some great tasting Mexican food. This is an easy dish to prepare, yet it has the appearance of being a dish you spent a lot of time on.

Ingredients List:

1.5 lbs of hamburger
1 pack taco seasoning
1 white onion, chopped, sautéed
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp pepper
1 lg. can enchilada sauce
15 fresh green onions, chopped
1 lb shredded cheddar cheese
1 pack corn tortillas

Directions:

The first thing you want to do is to fully cook your hamburger. Be sure to cook it so that it ends up with small pieces. Once it is fully cooked you want to add in your taco seasoning, chopped white onion, garlic powder, and pepper. Stir it and continue cooking until it is well blended. Once it is done, remove it from the burner and keep it within reach.

Now you are going to place your enchilada sauce into a pan and heat it up. Once it is heated you want to take your corn tortillas one at a time and dip them into the sauce, make sure you completely submerge them. Place each tortilla on a large baking pan and add some of the meat, green onion, and cheese on to the tortilla. Roll each tortilla one at a time and line the pan with them. Once your pan is filled you will spread some more of the enchilada sauce on the top, sprinkle a generous amount of cheese on the top, and finally add some of the green onions on the very top. Place the pan in the oven and turn it on 350 degrees. Bake the dish for about 15 minutes until all of the cheese is melted. Once the dish is done you will want to let it set for about 5 minutes. Then you will be ready to taste some of the best enchiladas ever!
