Ingredients List:
2 lbs hamburger meat
1 box penne pasta
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 green bell pepper
1 red pepper
1 white onion
1 tbsp garlic salt
1 tsp pepper
½ cup Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Directions:
Take your peppers and onions, chop them in to small pieces and sauté them in a pan with your vegetable oil. At the same time, you will want to boil your pasta noodles until they are tender then remove them from the stove, strain and rinse them, and set them to the side. You want to sauté them until the onions are a light brown in color. Cook your hamburger as you would if you were making spaghetti. Once it is almost fully cooked you will want to add in your garlic salt, pepper, sautéed peppers and onions, and spaghetti sauce. Continue cooking your hamburger mixture for about 3 minutes, then add in your noodles and stir it together. Finally, add your parmesan cheese into the mixture, stir it good and continue cooking for another 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and let it cool for five minutes. If you choose, you can sprinkle a little more parmesan cheese on the top of the completed dish. This is a good dish to eat with some garlic bread or bread sticks.
This is a great dish to make when you want to cook something simple, yet delicious. Kids and adults will enjoy this meal. It can be served as a simple casual meal, or you can really dress it up in its presentation and serve it to your dinner guests on a special occasion.
